MTP Kit is a full online mifepristone & misoprostol abortion pill kit used in females for early abortion. This abortion kit contains two medications, Mifepristone and Misoprostol, which are administered by women who are in their first trimester or up to 12 weeks pregnant. Mifepristone pills are indicated for oral administration and Misoprostol tablets for vaginal administration.
Each pack has 5 tablets:
1) 1 Tablet of Mifepristone
Each uncoated tablet includes the following:
200mg Mifepristone
2) 4 Misoprostol Tablets
Each uncoated tablet includes the following:
200 mcg Misoprostol each
The MTP Kit is intended for the medical termination of an intrauterine pregnancy of up to 70 days gestation depending on the starting day of the previous menstrual cycle.
Mifepristone should be taken orally with water. The four Misoprostol pills should then be taken during the following 72 hours. Your doctor will inform you about when to consume the medication.
Misoprostol can be administered orally or vaginally. Place the four pills in your cheek pouch for 20-25 minutes before taking them orally. Using water, swallow the leftover particles of the pill. Bleeding typically begins during the first four hours. Keep a few sanitary pads handy in case the bleeding is greater than usual.
For vaginal administration, lie down and insert the four pills into your vagina. If the tablets fall out before the bleeding begins, replace them. If the tablets fall out after the bleeding begins, don't panic; the majority of the drug will have been dissolved by this point.
Visit your doctor in two weeks to confirm whether or not abortion has happened. To minimize severe cramping and abdominal pain, your doctor may advise you to take an Ibuprofen pill 1 hour before taking Misoprostol.
Note: Ibuprofen is a pain reliever to help with cramps, pain and expect to have slight bleeding.
Following the administration of Misoprostol, the patient should return for a follow-up appointment 3-4 weeks later. This appointment is critical for confirming, by clinical examination or ultrasonographic scan, that the pregnancy has been terminated completely.
The pregnancy tissues are usually evacuated during the first 4-6 hours. Cramping and bleeding subside when the pregnancy tissues are expelled. Cramping lasts between 24 and 48 hours. The entire abortion procedure is done in 3-4 days. You should see your doctor again in two weeks.
